Yes, it is 100% free for all users at participating colleges and universities.

No problem, just describe the activity or event and choose a category that is the closest match. We continuously monitor activities created in the app to make sure we include the best possible list of categories.

Yes, your individual information will never be shared outside of Impromptu. We may use de-identified and aggregated user data externally to make better, more informed decisions about the direction of and future features in the app.

Absolutely! The “Student Organization” category was designed specifically for this purpose. If you are involved in promoting any student organization’s activities or events, Impromptu is an effective and free channel for you to reach your student audience.

Yes, we are continuously releasing updates to ensure optimal performance and user experience on the latest iOS and Android mobile operating systems and the most popular devices.

Sorry, no. Impromptu is currently only available to active students at your college or university.

No problem! Just update your response to the activity or event indicating that you will not be joining. Others who have joined will continue with the activity. And feel free to create a new activity with a date, time, and location that works for you!

To report any inappropriate user content or behavior, please tap on either (i) the “Report User” link on any user’s profile page, and then fill out the form or (ii) the menu link in the upper right of the mobile app, and then tap on the “Report Inappropriate User Content or Behavior” link, and then fill out the form.

Any inappropriate content or behavior will not be tolerated, and may result in the termination of that user’s account. In addition, users will be subject to the guidelines and penalties of their college’s student code of conduct AND local law enforcement.
